About Milly Tseng
Artist statement:
Although Milly Tseng was artistically inclined from a young age, the impetus to seriously pursue painting came only in the autumn of 2010 when an article in the local newspaper, the Brampton Guardian, captured her attention. The focus of the article, Impressionist painting, which centered around Claude Monet’s works, was what inspired Milly into picking up her paint brushes to hone her artistic skills. A keen gardener with a deep love for nature and the outdoors, Milly's source of inspiration is often the blooms in her garden and the places she has visited. Milly works mainly with oils and acrylic and continually seeks out opportunities to experiment with different media and subject matter. Milly has taken classes with artists Nancy Foster and Marianne Broome, and internationally renowned artists, Kelly McNeil and Lynda Kemp. Milly hopes to continue the journey of learning for many years to come…
“Painting is a passion that sets my mind free by allowing me to express my inner self.”
